Product Usage Precautions: Weighbridge Section
1. Usage instructions:
This product must not be overloaded.
Maintain good weighing practices when using the scale. Vehicles entering the weighbridge should maintain a speed of 5 kilometers per hour and approach the scale smoothly and evenly. Avoid rough handling such as speeding onto the scale or sudden braking, as these behaviors can lead to inaccurate weight readings and shorten the service life of the truck scale.
2. Operating environment:
Since many application environments may be threatened by rodents, the signal cables of electronic platform scales are exposed in some areas, so it’s crucial to take strict measures to prevent rodent damage.
Ensure a hard, smooth cement pavement.
Do not install the weighing instrument in locations with high voltage or strong electromagnetic interference, and do not use it in environments with intense electromagnetic interference or severe vibrations.
3. Maintenance and Care:
When the weighing display controller cannot be used for an extended period (e.g., more than one month), it should be powered on and checked according to environmental conditions to prevent reliability issues caused by moisture or other harmful gases.
Arc welding operations are prohibited on the weighing platform of truck scales. If arc welding must be performed on the weighing platform, please note: Disconnect the signal cable from the weighbridge display controller. The ground wire for arc welding must be positioned close to the weld area and securely connected to the scale body. Under no circumstances should the sensor be used as part of the arc-welding circuit.
Regularly clean debris from the sensor and periodically lubricate the steel balls that bear the load on the sensor with grease to prevent rusting or jamming, which could lead to inaccurate weighing or erratic readings.
Regularly clean the dirt off the weighing platform, and when weighing, pay attention to any hard stones on the scale surface.
Regularly check whether the limit clearance is appropriate and whether the weighing platform is in contact with or colliding with other objects.
Regularly check the drainage pipes for blockages and ensure proper drainage.
Do not strike the weighing surface forcefully with hard objects.
Do not use flammable materials to clean the instrument. It is strictly prohibited to use strong solvents to clean the instrument.
If the weighing display of an electronic truck scale malfunctions, immediately disconnect the power supply. If you are unable to accurately determine the cause of the power failure, please notify our company’s professional engineers for inspection and troubleshooting. Users must not disassemble the enclosure at will, nor may they arbitrarily replace internal components.
