Product Introduction
The explosion-proof stainless steel cylinder scale is a bench scale specifically designed for weighing cylindrical containers such as steel cylinders and gas cylinders. The entire scale features a dual-scale frame structure—upper and lower. The upper scale frame is equipped with a specialized wheel-clamp support device that securely grips and holds the cylinder, making it easy to stabilize and protect the cylinder during measurement and preventing it from colliding with the scale body.
The entire scale is made of stainless steel and features a polished, brushed surface. The entire scale has been treated to be antistatic. It is equipped with four specialized, explosion-proof, high-precision tumbler-type stainless steel sensors paired with an explosion-proof junction box.
For weighing and metering applications used in environments where gases or liquids such as ammonia and ethanol are filled into bottles, place the equipment on a level countertop for use.
The weighing body can be connected to a selected weighing display for measurement and use. In explosion-proof mode, two types of displays are available: intrinsically safe and flameproof.
Applicable scenarios for the product
This series of cylinder scales is suitable for measuring and weighing bottled equipment in industries such as chemical processing, municipal water supply, textile dyeing and printing, and manufacturing.
This scale is suitable for use in environments with special requirements for explosion-proof performance, as well as special requirements for water resistance and corrosion resistance.
Note: This product is not suitable for use with chlorine gas contained in cylinders or in liquid form, especially in environments where chlorine gas frequently leaks (chlorine gas exhibits relatively severe corrosiveness toward all steel products).

1. The entire scale is made of stainless steel and features a polished, brushed surface finish.
2. The load-bearing parts are equipped with polyurethane non-slip rollers (cylinder holders) and a composite spring cushioning system, effectively preventing the cylinder from impacting the weighing platform and reducing the risk of cylinder collisions.
3. The support features a “V”-shaped guiding device that conforms to the cylinder and can automatically adjust according to the cylinder’s size and shape.
4. Equipped with adjustable screw supports for conveniently aligning and repositioning the bottle body at different locations.

Product Usage Precautions: Steel Cylinder Scale Series
I. Usage Instructions:
1. This product must not be overloaded to ensure that the cylinder scale remains undamaged and the measurements remain accurate.
2. Arc welding on the weighing platform is prohibited. If arc welding must be performed on the weighing platform, please note: Disconnect the signal cable from the weigh display controller; the ground wire for arc welding must be placed near the welding area and securely connected to the weighing platform. Under no circumstances should the sensor be used as part of the arc-welding circuit.
3. On the same phase line connected to the electronic cylinder scale, inductive loads such as doorbells must not be connected.
4. Maintain good weighing habits when using the scale. During the weighing process, place the cylinder in the middle of the scale’s support structure, ensuring it is evenly positioned front to back, so that the four sensors on the cylinder scale receive balanced forces. Never simply place the cylinder down casually in pursuit of convenience and speed, as this could lead to uneven force distribution on the sensors, thereby reducing the service life of the cylinder scale and compromising the accuracy of your measurements.
5. When weighing, avoid contact, collision, or vibration with other objects to ensure measurement accuracy.
6. Cylinder scales are often used in flammable and explosive environments. Please handle them with care during operation to ensure safety.
II. Operating Environment:
1. During use, avoid placing the electronic cylinder scale near heat sources or vibration sources.
2. Electronic steel cylinder scales should not be exposed to the elements for extended periods, especially avoiding exposure to rain; the operating environment must be kept dry.
3. Avoid contact with corrosive substances to extend the service life. Non-waterproof platform scales should be kept away from water entering the sensors, junction boxes, and other components, as such water ingress could cause damage or affect measurement accuracy.
4. Since many application scenarios may be threatened by insects and rodents, the signal cables of the cylinder scales are exposed in some areas; therefore, it is essential to take strict measures to prevent damage caused by insects and rodents.
5. Regularly clean debris around the sensor to prevent it from pressing against the load cell, which could lead to inaccurate weighing and erratic readings.
6. In areas prone to frequent lightning strikes or during the thunderstorm season, it is essential to install reliable lightning arresters or other effective lightning protection measures. Both sensors and instruments are electrostatically sensitive devices, and during use, it is imperative to take practical measures to prevent static electricity.
III. Maintenance and Care:
1. Ensure that all connections are secure and regularly check whether the limit clearance is appropriate to guarantee normal operation.
2. Regularly clean the rust off the sensor screws to keep the sensor surface clean and free of interference, thus preventing changes in the sensor’s resistance that could affect weighing accuracy.
3. Regularly check the position of the scale corner screws to ensure they are within the normal operating range.
4. When the weighing display controller is not used for an extended period (e.g., more than one month), it should be powered on and checked periodically according to environmental conditions to prevent moisture or other harmful gases from compromising its reliability.
5. If the weighing display of the electronic cylinder scale malfunctions, immediately disconnect the power supply. If the cause of the malfunction cannot be accurately determined, promptly notify our company’s professional engineers for inspection and repair. Users must not disassemble the casing at will, nor may they arbitrarily replace internal components. Both operators of the electronic cylinder scale and instrument maintenance personnel must undergo specialized training before engaging in operation or maintenance activities.
