Abstract

The crane scale sensor features a special anti-corrosion treatment and boasts a robust, impact-resistant design. It integrates seamlessly with quay-side lifting devices—such as container hooks and lifting frames—to ensure stable weighing during the lifting process. Data is wirelessly transmitted to the terminal operating system (TOS), providing ports with an efficient and compliant weighing solution.

Requirement: During the loading and unloading of containers onto ships and their relocation within container yards, obtain their weights in real time for use in stowage planning, fee calculation, and compliance with the international SOLAS Convention (which mandates mandatory weighing of export containers).
Challenges: The containers are heavy—up to 40 tons—and require high weighing stability during the dynamic lifting process. Additionally, the coastal environment features high humidity and severe salt-spray corrosion.
Product Purchase: Yazhen High-Strength, Corrosion-Resistant Wireless Hanging Scale System
