Abstract
Accuracy Class of Electronic Truck Scales
Currently, the determination of accuracy classes for electronic truck scales in China is carried out in accordance with the specific requirements of the verification procedure JJG539—1997, "Digital Indicating Scales." Truck scales are classified into four accuracy classes:
Class I – Special Accuracy Class (Class 1)
Level II – High Accuracy Grade (Level 2)
Level III – Medium Accuracy Level (Level 3)
Level IIII – General Accuracy Level (Level 4)
Generally speaking, electronic balances fall into Class I and Class II, while electronic desk scales belong to Class II and Class III. As for non-automatic weighing instruments such as electronic floor scales, platform scales, and truck scales, they are classified as Class III and Class IIII.
