The semi-automatic drum tilting scale is an integrated device specifically designed for handling, stacking, and weighing cylindrical drums. It enables electrically powered lifting and tilting of drum-packed goods, as well as their transportation and weighing. This scale is equipped with a specialized weighing sensor module paired with a display, making it a professional-grade weighing instrument. The entire scale is constructed from carbon steel and features an electric-hydraulic actuator that raises and lowers the weighing platform. At the bottom of the scale body are high-strength nylon rollers, allowing the scale to be manually pushed and moved.
The vehicle’s overall design features a rational structure and ensures safe operation. The electric electronic drum scale (commonly referred to as the electric drum-turning scale), specifically designed for handling and weighing oil drums in chemical plants, not only reduces the physical effort required for manual drum handling but also significantly boosts both the plant’s production efficiency and weighing accuracy. Product Precautions
1. Usage instructions:
(1) This product must not be overloaded.
(2) Please pay attention to safety. It is strictly prohibited to place any part of your body under the gantry or wheels. As a precaution, when using the bucket scale for weighing operations, maintain a safe distance of about 2 meters in front of the scale, and ensure that no one is standing underneath.
(3) Before each use, check whether the fasteners are tightened, whether the sealing gasket is damaged or失效, whether the chain is damaged, and whether the clamping ring can securely hold the cargo.
(4) Oil Change Procedure: Ensure the fork carriage is in the lowest position. Loosen the hose at the bottom of the cylinder and place the hose into an oil collection container. Activate the lift handle; once the pump starts running, the oil in the tank will be drained completely. Use YZ-N46 or a similar hydraulic oil; for cold storage applications where temperatures are low, it is recommended to use YH-10. After completing the oil change, raise and lower the fork carriage 2–3 times to expel any air remaining in the cylinder, ensuring the machine operates properly. If the lifting height does not reach the required level, add additional hydraulic oil as needed.
(5) If the weighing display of the bucket scale fails, immediately disconnect the power supply. If the cause of the failure cannot be accurately determined, promptly notify our company’s professional engineers for inspection and troubleshooting. Users must not disassemble the casing at will, nor may they arbitrarily replace internal components.
(6) Before use, lubricant must be added and the hydraulic cylinder of the machine must be checked to ensure it is fully filled with hydraulic oil. Thereafter, lubricant should be applied to the drive chain every six months. If operation in a dusty environment is unavoidable, the chain must be cleaned using an oil-soaked cloth, and its condition should be inspected for any damage.
(7) When transferring liquid from a rotating container to an oil drum, lifting or lowering operations are strictly prohibited. After completing the operation, the cargo should be unloaded immediately; heavy objects must not be left resting on the tipping scale for extended periods.2. Operating environment:
(1) The bucket scale should be operated or parked in a location free from rain and snow. Avoid using it in humid environments, and never operate or park it on slopes.
(2) This tipping bucket scale is designed for use on flat or level, hard surfaces. The cargo must be secured with buckles or retaining rings. Overloading the scale is strictly prohibited to ensure safety.
(3) Vehicles equipped with bucket scales should not be used on hot surfaces to avoid damaging the polyurethane or nylon wheels.
3. Maintenance and Care:
(1) This product must not be overloaded and should be used exclusively for its intended purpose. Pay attention to the humidity and dust levels in the operating environment.
(2) Keep the battery fully charged and recharge it once or twice a month. If necessary, add distilled water or purified water as needed. If the battery is not used for an extended period (more than one month), remove it from the vehicle and recharge it every three months. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
(3) Regularly inspect and tighten any loose screws, nuts, and battery cable terminals. Also, check the carbon brushes of the oil pump motor for wear and eliminate any potential defects to ensure good electrical contact.
(4) Periodically clean the body of the bucket weighing vehicle, paying particular attention to whether any cords, debris, or other foreign objects have become entangled around the wheels and wheel axles.
(5) During the warranty period, hydraulic oil generally does not need to be replaced unless there is a malfunction in the hydraulic system. It is recommended to replace the hydraulic oil every two years.
(6) Both the operators of the bucket weighing system and the instrument maintenance personnel must undergo specialized training before engaging in operation and maintenance activities.

3.1 Users shall not modify or repair any internal components of the instrument on their own, nor shall they cause any man-made damage.
